How to Use the Error Checking Dialog Box to Find Errors Online Exams and Class Help Service

When you do look up an error, it will be shown on the right hand side of the column, just beside the name of the data. If there is an error in the first or second cell, you will find it in the third cell.

You should not worry about the size of error. Excel does not try to remove smaller errors, but instead, the larger errors are more likely to cause your workbook to fail.

Error checking is very useful. It is easy to use, and it will help you save a lot of time if you use it often.

The first step you should take to check the errors in Excel is to create a new worksheet. Once you have created a new worksheet, the next step is to open the Data tab in the “Data Tools” panel and click “Check”.

The next time you open the worksheet, you should click the “Lookup All Errors” option and select the check box to display all the possible values that occur in the next time you try to access the data. if any of them are found, you will find a message stating that the error was found and you will be asked to close the dialog box.

If the error checking option is not available when you open the worksheet, you should check the “Lookup All Errors” option to perform this action. Once you have finished the worksheet and the dialog box, you will see that you now have the error checking options you need. and it will be simple to correct errors.
